Professor Daina Andersone
Head of the Rheumatology Center of Pauls Stradiņš Clinical University Hospital.
In 1981, in Vilnius, she defended her doctoral dissertation.
She complemented her knowledge at the Hanover Medical School and at the Charles Friedrich University of Nuremberg.
In 1995, she defended her dissertation at the Latvian Medical Academy for the degree of habilitated doctor of medicine.
Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine of Faculty of Medicine of University of Latvia, Head of Residency in Rheumatology.
Chairwoman of the Board of the Latvian Adult Rheumatology Society.
In 2018, she received the highest award of the Republic of Latvia, the Order of the Three Stars.
